At Keep Lake Como Beautiful (KLCB), we are committed to advocacy and empowering residents to drive systemic change. The Resolve Project is our initiative to equip the community with the tools and knowledge to hold city departments accountable, amplify community voices, and create a lasting impact.

Why The Resolve Project Matters

When issues like broken streetlights, abandoned properties, and recurring safety hazards go unaddressed, they can erode community morale and threaten neighborhood vitality. Through The Resolve Project, we focus on:

  • Compiling and tracking unresolved city service requests.

  • Engaging city departments to ensure timely resolution of neighborhood concerns.

  • Training residents to become advocates for meaningful change in their community.

 

Together, we aim to transform frustration into action, empowering Lake Como residents to advocate for a safer, cleaner, and more connected neighborhood.

How The Resolve Project Works

Observation and Reporting

Volunteers maintain a comprehensive log of unresolved neighborhood issues. After 10 days this data is compiled and shared with city departments to initiate action.

We engage with local officials to:

  • Provide updates on unresolved concerns.

  • Advocate for equitable resource distribution and timely responses.

Training and Resources
 

Through workshops and online resources, The Resolve Project trains residents in:

  • Effective communication and advocacy techniques.

  • Utilizing public tools like 311 apps and city service portals.
