Hey there!
I’m Shavina “Miss Peacock” Taylor, the founder and Program Director of Keep Lake Como Beautiful (KLCB). I'm also a social entrepreneur driven by creativity, innovation, and community empowerment. From the moment I envisioned KLCB, I knew it would take more than just one person to realize the full potential of our beloved neighborhood.
I bring a dynamic approach to revitalization, blending swift decision-making with collaboration, critical thinking, and a deep passion for uplifting others. While I’ve successfully laid the groundwork for KLCB and its initiatives, I firmly believe:
“Whoever you are and wherever you share your gifts and talents...
you cannot do this work alone.”
Real transformation requires a core team of engaged stakeholders and residents to oversee and organize the many tasks involved in revitalization. My role now is to guide, mentor, and empower the next wave of leaders to continue building a stronger, safer, and more connected Lake Como.
